D-Day -2 weeks

So we're about two weeks away from districts in cross country and I've been running into a string of bad luck as far as injuries go. They're all minor injuries, but it doesn't take much to hinder a person from running.

So my week has been going really good actually despite my leg troubles. Last weekend got really boring after the Webb City vs. Pittsburg football game; I actually got so bored it hurt...literally. Am I the only person who can get so bored that they get a not in their stomach, the type of not you get when you see a dog get run over? Well, let me tell you, it sucks, but I somehow tolerate it pretty well (seeing as how my house hasn't caught on fire yet, or the fact that I haven't started riding the laundry basket down the stairs). Monday was a pretty good day though. School gave me something to do, and it was a nice and rainy day which kept me peaceful.

Today was also a pretty good day, I don't know why, it's just a feeling I'm left with at the end that makes me feel -- what's a good word? -- happy. However, cross country doesn't seem to be going too well. Yesterday we ran Aylor hill to Carl Junction road and back to the school...three times (6 miles). Aylor hill always screws me up somehow; first it was my knee, now it's my hip flexor. Coach B says he might put me in the swimming pool tomorrow so I can still get a good workout, but I'll be healthy for our meet at Neosho on Thursday.

Gosh my life is boring, I feel sorry for the poor souls actually reading this crap. I remember some of my first blogs I at least attempted to be humorous, but nowadays I'm just too pooped to give a crap.

Well, have a good day...since I lack in humor I'll make up for it with this video,

Seal
