They were having a STUCO (Student Council) meeting, so I put in the request for a Golden Gloves boxing program at our highschool. Ryan, however, pretty much pointed out how impossible it would be. Anyway, we all sat and talked for a while and a few other people I knew came in, so it was fun.
Today I went to church with Ryan, which was cool. I don't go to church regularly but it's something I know I should do, so I think I'll start doing that. After church I only had a couple hours of downtime before my aunt picked me up to go to my cousin's basketball game at the Overtime Gym by Braum's. They lost their first game by one point, which was made in the last 20 seconds, and won the second game by 5 or 7 points, despite the other team having two towering black guys who dunked pretty much every shot.
Between the two games was a little over an hour to kill, so we all went to Books-A-Million. I was disappointed that they didn't have either Sly Moves or The Wheelman, and was about to give up on that book store all together until I saw Sly Moves in the bargain bin shelf. It's Sylvester Stallone's fitness book, which is actually a pretty good read. In the beginning he talks a little bit about himself and some training methods he used for the Rocky and Rambo movies, explaining how he actually over trained and how it was unnecessary. I find that funny, because over the summer I'd actually found his split-routine workout program he used for Rambo 2 and used it. I got some good results, but like he said it was overkill. I flipped ahead to the actual exercise part of the book and was surprised to see a few weight lifting exercises I'd never seen before.

So it seems I've found an answer to my problem of trying to figure out how to mix things up in the gym. I can't wait to try some new things out tomorrow after school in the football players' weight room. After buying Sly's book my uncle, aunt, cousin, mom, grandma, and I went to Olive Garden for my grandma's birthday. It was delicious! I had the chicken parmigiana and on the way home got myself the last hot fudge oreo shake from Sonic I'll have for a while. See, even though I'm running, I still need to cut back on the unhealthy food so I'm taking action starting tomorrow.
Well, I pretty much made myself sick with all the food, and thank God I can actually go to bed early tonight because I did all my homework on Friday!
Have a good day/night

P.S. I hope you guys like the music playlist I added...I should be updating it soon, but decided to go ahead and put it up early just to see if it would work. Pretty nifty if you ask me.
