So today school was good, but you're probably more interested in why I chose to title this blog the way I did.
Today after school my knee was feeling fine; I was ready to run despite the fact we were doing ten yassos, and not meeting our time may result in repeating them. I did my one mile warm-up and stretched with everyone. Coach had us run at 2:40 pace (that's one mile in 5:40!), and around the third yasso my knee started hurting again. By the sixth one I was falling behind to much so coach sent me to put ice on it. I'm glad I still got to do six though, but I hate cutting practices short like that, even if it was for the better.
Brian was up getting ice on his hip, or hamstring...I forget. We talked a little bit and I'm thinking about wrestling this season, but I doubt I will. It all depends on how I feel after Cross Country season ends. If we go to state then wrestling starts the week after cross country ends, and I'm still pretty sure I'm going to train for boxing again.
After talking we walked back down and the Jr. High girls only had to do 4 yassos...and I was thinking, "Wow, they think doing four is hard? They have it easy. I wish I was them."
Well, that's pretty much it.
Have a good one,
Seal
