Fun Run

School was alright today. I was pretty tired in first hour, but as soon as Aleigha pulled the grapes out of her purse I was wide awake! I love grapes by the way. Spanish 3 was fun, we didn't really do much and I did my English homework. Only bad thing was we got homework. Third and fourth hour were different however. The muscle relaxer I took last night for my leg was still in effect, and I was feeling a little sick, as if I were sleep deprived. My head felt like it was going to burst, eyes felt like they were being sucked back into my skull, and everything was moving really slowly.

I still lifted weights after school though, and that made me feel a little better. My knee hurt from our Monday run and meet we had yesterday, so Coach put me in the Wellness Center where I pretty much did nothing but stretch and do push-ups and crunches. It was boring, and the worst part about it was that everyone else got to go on a fun run. So I pretty have the worst timing in the world to be hurting. Tomorrow's practice is going to suck! We're starting our districts training so it's going to be nothing but speed work.

After practice Coach talked to us about after school Friday. We're all going over to his house in the evening and camping out all night with s'mores, Guitar Hero and Halo, and other fun stuff. I could care less about the video games. Guitar Hero is fun, but there's going to be so many people it won't be as fun. Josh was talking about Halo 3 like it was his idle of worship. If I remember correctly he said it was "like losing your virginity" once you've played it. No offense to him, but I don't think he knows what that's like to begin with. Neither do I, but still...I thought it was kind of funny.

Saturday morning we get to wake up at 6am and go set up for the community 5k race for the Mining Days festival. My Spanish teacher actually has a rock band that's going to be playing at the festival, but I think I'll just go home after we set up and sleep some more.

Well, that was my day.

Hope you had a better day than me,

Seal
